Taking the crown this year is Cala Goloritzé in Sardinia, Italy, a protected cove framed by towering cliffs and electric-blue water. It’s remote, pristine, and absolutely breathtaking—and you can get there in around 2.5 hours from London. You’ll have to hike the last stretch or swim in from a boat, but it’s worth it.

Hidden Gems from Around the Globe

Second place goes to Entalula Beach in the Philippines—a peaceful paradise accessible only by boat. Third is Bang Bao Beach on Thailand’s Koh Kood, known for calm waters and a charming fishing village nearby. Greece’s Fteri Beach takes fourth, while French Polynesia’s PK9 Beach, famous for its coral reefs and tropical fish, rounds out the top five.
