David Blaine Floats 24,900ft Into The Clouds By Holding Helium Balloons!

The "extreme performance artist" David Blaine originally rose to fame for street magic. He then turned his hand at extreme forms of endurance including locking himself in a block of ice without food or water, and living in a coffin for a week!

But his new stunt captures the imagination of everyone's inner child, as he floated up up and away into the clouds holding a large set of helium balloons!

In a scene that looked straight out of a children's bedtime story, David Blaine shattered Youtube Original show records with his new stunt that took 2 years and over 500 skydives to prepare for.

It evokes feelings of awe, wonder and most of all, the desire to hop into your own balloon filled bookitlist fantasy. Who doesn't want to admire the panoramic view whilst whimsically floating towards the heavens?

Ok, perhaps not in the dare devil-esque format that David Blaine chose, I for one am not hoping to skydive from 24,900ft at the end of a hot air balloon ride, but certainly the floating views made me a little green with jealousy.
