Amanda Holden shares selfie and pops champagne as she celebrates completing the Three Peaks Challenge!
Brits might be used to seeing Amanda Holden in heels and dresses, but the 51-year-old, TV and radio host, still managed to look glam as she swapped her usual glitzy attire for hiking gear to take on the iconic Three Peaks Challenge for charity.
The Three Peaks involves scaling the tallest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in just 24 hours! Not for the faint-hearted, it encompasses a walking distance of 23 miles and an ascent of over 10,000 ft!
Holdenwas joined by fellow mountaineers, made up of people working for some of the many small charities that the Global Make Some Noise campaign supports. Starting in North Wales the group battled wind and rain as they scaled Mount Snowdon, before driving some 200 miles to the Lake District, where they hiked to England's highest point, the summit of Scafell Pike.

Finally, they journeyed to Scotland's western highlands and made their final ascent to the summit of the highest peak in all of the UK, Ben Nevis, where Amanda and her group popped champagne and celebrated their amazing achievement in style.
An impressive effort for a worthy cause, Global’s Make Some Noise, a charity partner of Heart Radio (where Amanda co-hosts the weekday breakfast show with Jamie Theakston), supports numerous small charities that help disadvantaged people across the country.
Fancy following in Amanda's footsteps? Join us next summer as we take on the three tallest mountains in the UK in just one day. An epic challenge to be sure but a memorable one that's worth every step and bead of sweat!
