Paro Taktsang or as it’s more commonly known Tiger’s, Nest is a 328-year-old Buddhist monastery that sits precariously on a soaring cliff face 3120 meters above sea level, in the heart of the fascinating kingdom of Bhutan.
A hugely sacred and important site, the monastery was constructed in the location where Padmasambhava, also known as Guru Rinpoche (who is credited with introducing Buddhism to Bhutan and as the legend goes, was brought on the back of a tigress) first meditated and is a truly breathtaking sight, a cliffside complex of beautiful temples and caves surrounded by the verdant slopes of the Himalayas!
Between 4 and 7 hours.
The best time of year to visit Bhutan is during late March and April as the weather is usually clear and pleasant and the flowers are in full bloom.
There are no direct flights to Bhutan from the UK, instead, you must travel via another Asian city such as Bangkok, Kolkata, Delhi, Mumbai, and Singapore.
Yes, British Citizens must obtain a visa to enter the country. Visas are issued on arrival but must be applied for in advance via a licensed tour operator.
Rob was a fantastic guide. The trip was very enjoyable and Robs knowledge and expertise were great. Would defo recommend
Excellent service from start to finish. I booked the National 3 Peasks challenge in 24 hours. i had regular communication from Rob and the team prioe to the event checking in on my progress, which really spurred me on as well as a helpful fitness plan i has to folow. For the challenge itself Rob and Tim really helped put the group at ease, and was very encouraging. Such a credit to business. i would not hesitate at all in recommending bookitlist to friends and family and will define use again in the future. Thank you for pushing me to finish the challenge!

The heart of the Himalayas with Mt Everest soaring as it's crown jewel. Also if UNESCO World Heritage bhuddist monstaries in an icy wonderland sound cool, you'll love Nepal.
