Although perhaps lesser known than many of its neighbours, Botswana is a truly beautiful country, one of Africa’s finest safari destinations, dominated by untamed, wildlife-rich terrain.
In the North of the country, the vast Okavango Delta and the surrounding grassy plains are a haven for big game, whilst the Kalahari desert - which encompasses much of the country - features surprisingly biodiverse terrain, from the famed black-maned lions of the central savannas, to herds of wildebeest, springbok and red hartebeest in the surreal arid landscapes of the south.
As there are no direct flights from the UK to Botswana, the easiest route is to fly to Johannesburg with either South African or British Airways and then on to Maun, Botswana’s tourist hub, with Air Botswana.
The dry season between May and October is the best period to visit.
We recommend a minimum of 8 days.
UK citizens do not require a visa to enter Botswana and may remain there for 90 days.
Rob was a fantastic guide. The trip was very enjoyable and Robs knowledge and expertise were great. Would defo recommend
Excellent service from start to finish. I booked the National 3 Peasks challenge in 24 hours. i had regular communication from Rob and the team prioe to the event checking in on my progress, which really spurred me on as well as a helpful fitness plan i has to folow. For the challenge itself Rob and Tim really helped put the group at ease, and was very encouraging. Such a credit to business. i would not hesitate at all in recommending bookitlist to friends and family and will define use again in the future. Thank you for pushing me to finish the challenge!

Alpine snow forests and open plains. Kenya is a dramatic dichotomy of landscapes.
