One of Europe’s most iconic landmarks, the medieval Notre-Dame Cathedral is situated on a small island on the River Seine, in the heart of Paris, and its striking twin towers can be seen from miles around.
Completed in 1345, the cathedral is a stunning example of French-gothic architecture, with a truly awe-inspiring interior that matches its world-famous facade, and, though it sustained fire-damage in the Spring of 2019, it is currently being restored to its former glory, with its doors due to reopen in early 2021.
