Taking on The Tallest Mountains in Scotland, England and Wales in three days. Allowing more time to achieve the climb than the 24 hour challenge.
There is no greater way to conquer the landscape (and boost your confidence), than by pushing yourself to ascend a mountain and stand atop it in a moment of pure victory. Imagine the crisp, clean air, filling your lungs as you swell with a sense of pride, absorbing the panorama beneath.
Comprised of the tallest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales, the 3 peaks challenge covers a 23 miles distance with an ascent of over 10,000 ft. An epic challenge to be sure, but one that's worth every step and bead of sweat.
Meet the team at either of the designated pick up points or in Fort William. Here we will provide you with a meal in the evening; have a kit check to ensure that everybody is ready for the challenge, and then settle for an early night in the Bed and Breakfast, ready for the challenge ahead!
The first hiking day of the challenge consists of the largest mountain, Ben Nevis. Your guides will take you up and down the mountain, and then we will make our journey to Scafell Pike. Due to the longer time limit on this challenge we will also stop for breaks at interesting destinations such as Glencoe & Falls of Falloch.
Upon arriving in the Lake District we will check into our Bed & Breakfast and enjoy an evening meal.
Starting the day, we will take the ascent of Scafell Pike.
After completing the mountain, we will spend a leisurely afternoon taking a visit around the Lake District's picturesque Ambleside, before climbing Snowdon tomorrow.
We will then return to the Bed & Breakfast for an evening meal.
Early morning, we will take the journey to Snowdonia and make the climb of Snowdon.
Once this has been completed, we will enjoy a well-deserved victory meal and collect your medals, before you're dropped off back at your desired pick up and drop off points.
