There isn't really a bad time to visit Mexico, though you can do worse then January. It is the middle of the dry season and conditions are perfect, think clear, blue skies, and temperatures in the high 20s. Though its a popiular time to visit, it is generally less crowded then December and February, and its also one of the best months for whale watching, plus, there are number of cultural events and festivals including the wonderful Fiesta de Enero (January Festival) in the southern state of Chiapas.

There is no end of good reasons to visit Africa's southernmost country, from the stunning scenery, (which encompasses everything from unspoilt white beaches to soaring peaks and biodiverse rainforests) to world-class gastronomy, spectacular wildlife, and endless adventure opportunities.
